About this chartplotter application

In a sudden foul weather and poor visibility it would be handy if you could
check your approximate position quickly from a device and find yourself on the
chart again. Numerous complicated properties are not needed in these situations.
Whether you are in the woods or at sea you have your favorite map or chart
with you. The scale is appropriate and you are used to that map.
Use your Windows phone (with a GPS receiver).Take a picture of your
map, calibrate it and you have a device that brings you back on your map when
needed. You need to calibrate a map only once. Next time it opens directly to your
position when you choose it.

The important thing is that you do not need an internet or a phone connection
to check your approximate position.
Your device shows track for instance when trekking in a mountainous region
where no connection is available. Besides, wherever you go, you have no costs of
constantly loading new maps or keeping up an open connection.
The use of this application was kept as simple as possible: Enter  ->  choose
a map and then Enter  ->  view that map. Your position is always in the center and
the track is drawn on a moving map.
